Ross Geller: Sigma Phi Epsilon

With their saying being "building balanced men", Ross Geller wouldn't fit into any other house. Throughout the show we constantly see Ross as a character who is loving and caring for his friends, yet a little nerdy and goofy when the time is right.

Rachel Green: Kappa Kappa Gamma

Actually, in the show Rachel announces that she used to be a "Kappa" which could really insinuate a few different sororities, however Rachel fits best in Kappa Kappa Gamma's ideals. She is absolutely stunning, but she's beyond just looks. Rachel is always caring, even if she is sometimes a pushover. She's always kind hearted and willing to put her job and friends before herself, which we see the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma encompass in their philanthropy of "Reading Is Fundamental".

Joey Tribiani: Pi Kappa Alpha

Pi Kappa Alpha actually means "Faithful and True", which we see endlessly from Joey Tribiani. He always goes above and beyond to be faithful and true to his friends and throughout the duration of the show we see Joey make decisions to help others even if it takes him away from his career or his bark-a-lounger.

Pheobe Buffay: Alpha Chi Omega

Alpha Chi Omega's are "Real. Strong. Women" and that couldn't be any more true of Pheobe Buffay. Pheobe, although sometimes we see her as clueless, is actually a hilarious but strong-willed woman. Throughout the duration of the show we see Pheobe overcome a multitude of obstacles and therefore we see her as probably the strongest and most willing of the bunch and that's why Pheobe fits in perfectly with the Alpha Chi Omega girls.

Monica Geller: Delta Gamma

Monica really is the anchor of the friend group. Just like the symbol of Delta Gamma insinuates, Monica stands true to herself and doesn't let anyone change her or pull her in any direction. She really brought the friends group together through her family and so we truly see Monica as the anchor of the entire show.

Chandler Bing: Phi Gamma Delta

Phi Gamma Delta really focuses on "building courageous leaders" and that's what we see from Chandler Bing. He starts off being a little frightened and a kind of "whimpy" character and as his feelings for Monica grow, we see him come into his own as a truly courageous, risk-taking man.
