Appearance
Freshman You: You get dressed up for class and can't go out without hair and makeup done like you are performing at the Grammys.
Sophomore You: Dressed up is wearing leggings instead of sweat pants, a sweater instead of a crew neck, and concealer to hide your lack of sleep.
Food
Freshman You: You have blocks, therefore food is essentially free. Eat up.
Sophomore You: Starving because you are paying for your own food and malnourished because you don't have the time or desire to cook.
Academics
Freshman You: Easy classes, less effort, easy As.
Sophomore You: Major classes, lots of effort, I hope I get As.
Health
Freshman You: You miss the glory days of high school varsity sports and the RPAC simply won't satisfy you.
Sophomore You: Too much sitting around and you gained that freshman 15. You wanna get in the best shape of your life.
Friends
Freshman You: You had the most friends in high school, so of course you need tons of friends in college, too. If you know their first name, friends!
Sophomore You: Fewer friends, better friendships. The ones who are still around are the ones invited to your wedding. You have weeded out those who were holding you back. Quality over quantity.
Roommates
Freshman You: You didn't choose who you live with and you got the short end of the stick. You can't stand one more minute with your psycho random roommate and her annoying live-in boyfriend. Not to mention she leaves all of her stuff on YOUR side.
Sophomore You: Having your own space to retreat to allows you the time to be alone and decide when you want to clean and when you don't. You love your roommates, and you all get along. Huge improvement from last year.
Dating
Freshman You: You don't want to be tied down. You just want to be "Young and wild and free," To talk to whomever you want whenever you want. The right person could change your mind, but you'll wait for now.
Sophomore You: All of your friends, roommates, and siblings have that special someone. You wait for your person to come around, but since that isn't happening any time soon, you force your best friend to cuddle with you.
Ego
Freshman You: You feel like an adult now. You know everything, and you will not be convinced otherwise. You own this school and you run this town.
Sophomore You: You're lost and confused. You've changed your major three times and a fourth time is very likely. Already stressing about the MCAT, the LSAT and whether you want to go to grad school or not. So much stress and you're not even half way done.
