Where To Watch Firework Shows In Colorado This Fourth of July

With COVID-19 ruining many plans for the year, some people are wondering if there are still going to be firework shows in their state. Here are some places in Colorado you can still celebrate the Fourth of July!

One of the best parts of the summer is 4th of July. Whether your cookout, party, or favorite fireworks display got cancelled this year, there are still some places that are doing firework shows in Colorado!

Fort Carson Freedom Fest

Fort Carson Mountaineer

Fort Carson is an army base that is located in south Colorado Springs. Every year, the MWR holds their "Freedom Fest" which includes a ton of rides, live entertainment, and fireworks. This year it is postponed, but if you keep an eye out on their website, they are supposed to announce a date sometime soon.

4th of July Symphony on Your Porch

With social distancing guidelines in place, Colorado Springs has come up with this event. The purpose of it is to watch the fireworks go off across the region, all from the comfort of your porch. Radio stations will be playing music while fireworks are being set off. There is a map and more info at the event's website. If you can't see them from your house, load your family into the car and watch them from there!

Triple Play Holiday at UCHealth Park

Rocky Mountain Vibes

The baseball team, Rocky Mountain Vibes, located in Colorado Springs will be doing a movie showing with a fireworks display directly after at their Triple Play Holiday event. Located at UC Health Park, it will definitely be a blast (...get it? Blast?!)

Due to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited tickets to the events. Find out more info on their Facebook event.

Fireworks in Castle Rock

City of Castle Rock Official Website

The city of Castle Rock is still planning on doing their annual firework display, but with new guidelines in place. They encourage spectators to view the fireworks from their homes (if located in their city). If you are traveling to Castle Rock to view the fireworks, they ask that you stay in your car or follow social distancing guidelines when gathering outside. Fireworks Extravaganza

The Colorado Switchbacks, located in Colorado Springs, will be hosting their Fireworks Extravaganza with new guidelines in place. Due to COVID-19, they request you remain in your cars if you plan on heading over to Weidner Field for the show. Find more info at their website
