Everyone has that one person they go to for everything, you tell all of your secrets to, always hang out with and would do anything for. As Meredith Grey would say, this is your person. Throughout life, your person will probably change a couple times. Mine did from high school to college. If you're lucky though, you won't have just one person. I have four people that, when you put them together, are my one person, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
They Join Your Crazy
When the five of you go out, you don't worry about not knowing anyone or acting the right way to fit in. You just let loose and be your chaotic selves, because with your little group of five you don't care what others think. You aren't afraid to be looked at or talked about because it isn't just you out there being a fool. It's a group being stupid, and it looks normal!
Dating
Dating can be a struggle. There is always one friend that is either single or having relationship problems. When one of your friends starts dating someone new, they have to be approved by the whole group. This may sound like a downside to having four best friends, but it isn't. It's four people that can look at the situation and get a feel for the potential relationship. Listen to your friends. They know you best.
Back Up
There are times in everyone's life that you are in a situation that you just need someone on your side. Whether it be with an ex, a professor is being unfair, your parents won't listen to what you have to say or even you just need to vent, a best friend is always there for you, so imagine having four other people in your corner to defend you and stand up for you when you sometimes can't do it by yourself!
Activities/Hobbies
Finding someone to join you in your weird activities is much easier when you have four people to choose from, and at least one of them will love the idea of going on some crazy adventure with you.
Finding your person is an important part of life, and sometimes if you're really lucky like me (or just needed more than one person to deal with your crazy), you get to have your only four friends in life, and you wouldn't change a thing!
