Long distance friendship is no easy task. It takes an incredible bond and some pretty awesome people to be able to make a friendship work when they are miles apart. Move after move I have had the privilege of meeting some pretty incredible people. Many have left my life, as I mentioned long distance is hard, and few have stayed. And you, my friend, are one of the few. The one who has been with me through (countless) boy trouble, family deaths, and simply life's struggles. I rarely get the chance to tell you how much you mean to me, so here it is.
Thank you for always answering when I need you. Life gets busy, schedules conflict, and we both have a lot going on but when I need you, you always answer. When I've dealt with more than I can handle, a 2 hour FaceTime call with you is just what the Doctor ordered. You listen to my rants and irrationality and no matter the distance you will always be the person I share all my troubles with... Aren't you lucky!
Thank you for being understanding. Sometimes life gets busy and I don't always reply to your texts, calls, or snaps. And, I know what you're thinking (because we're basically the same person), no I'm not ignoring you.
Thank you for being you. You are so kind-hearted, honest, and "my person". I know I can always come to you for an opinion, because you will give me a honest, no bull answer. Thank you for loving me at my lows and highs. And most importantly, thank you for making fun of me, gotta keep a girl humble.
I appreciate the fact that we stay in contact, and when the stars do align and we both have time to FaceTime it's as if no time has come between us. We pick up right where we left off... and that is true friendship.
I treasure your constant presence in my life. Thank you for showing me what a good friend is. I love you!
