Ladies, it's #formalszn and you know what that means; you need to find a date which is, like, supes scary. But, have no fear, there's always a boy who's down to get down with you and your sisters at your sorority formal. Whether you decide on someone you have never met before or your BF of a million years, you'll be cuddling with some guy in that DC hotel bed.

There is obviously a wide variety of different boys on any campus that could be your Prince Charming for the night, so here I am to lay them out, hopefully to help facilitate this whole formal thing for you.

1. The Committed Boyfriend

This date is self-explanatory. It's your boyfriend from high school with whom you're "making long distance work." He's going to get on a plane from the University of Michigan or wherever he currently goes so you can show him off to all of your BFFs. He might even fly in from Israel because formal is, like, so important and you just NEED your BF by your side. You guys are going to go all out and get that single room with a king bed and enjoy a magical night together. #romance.

2. The "My Big Set Me Up With Her Friend"

This date is for all of you girls that might be a little shyer around boys or that might not have as many guy friends in your repertoire. Your cool and popular older big has millions of hot guy friends in a ton of frats and they are all just begging to come to your formal. So, she calls you up and says "Oh em geeee! My BEST guy friend from (some frat) really wants to come to formal! Would you take him? You're gonna LOVE him, don't worry." You say yes because you worship your big. The date is going to leave you as soon as you get to the club to hang out with his older friends, but it's fine because then you get to spend the night stress-free with your girls.

3. The Best Friend

This date is someone you really bonded with first semester and have been able to maintain a strong friendship with during the craziness that is New Member Education. He is the only guy you know you would have fun with and he is happy to accompany you to this event. You guys don't hook up, but I guess whatever happens at formal stays at formal, so who knows what will happen when you're chillin' in that double bed next to your sister and her date. Like, maybe?

4. The Guy You Have a Crush On

This date is for all you risk takers out there. You muster up the courage to ask that totally dreamy older guy in that really highly regarded frat and he says YES! #omg. The whole night you're trying to impress him and get him a little too drunk so maybe you'll get lucky later. You take a million pictures and post one on The Gram to show all your friends from home how smokin' hot your date was, and you totally act like you are more in love than you really are. He's nice, but not really into it, but you still have fun because, like, you're with your dream husband.

5. The Friend With Benefits

This date is for everyone who isn't really sure who to ask. You guys hook up consistently at 3 a.m., but nothing past that. You don't have a good social relationship, but, whatever, you'll bring him anyway. It'll be kind of awkward at the start of the night then hopefully you guys will start to have fun together. You'll probably leave the club early to go to your room, because, well, that's the extent of your relationship. Still a good night.

So with formals coming up left and right, I wish all of you luck in your date-related endeavors and I hope you have the most perfect formal ever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
