Fauda
GiphyAn "Israeli thriller" to say the least. Fauda perfectly executes a combination of action, thriller, mystery, a love story, and even witty comedy all in JUST their first season. A second season has just been released and I am ~I T C H I N G~ to watch it. Without giving away too much, Fauda is premised around a secret force within the IDF and the chaotic events that come about their missions.
Peaky Blinders
GiphyOHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY.
Peaky Blinders is definitely up there in one of my top 5 favorite shows.
This British show is placed in the hiccup of time after the Great War, circa 1919. Following its aftermath the show guides you through the uproar and crimes of a Britain in despair. The uproar and crimes circulated more particularly, of the most powerful gang in Britain: the Peaky Blinders, led by the Thomas Shelby. Four seasons of nonstop thrilling action and drama.
Lovesick
GiphyI am really NOT THE ONE for sappy, rom-com shows but this one hits just the spot. Lovesick is a British romance show, with a twist. Our basic plot line: Dylan is truly on the hunt for his soul mate, while on his quest he may or may not stumble into a few one-night stands. He discovers he has a sexually transmitted disease and sh*t hits the fan, Dylan goes back to each one of his lovers and investigates. A tale of love and humiliation - my favorite! But truly, of all rom-coms this one feels the most genuine with the most relatable characters and fantastic writing.
The Inbetweeners
GiphyThe Inbetweeners. A different kind of coming of age show. This is the cringiest, funniest, weirdly relatable show I've ever had the pleasure of watching. This British series follows the lives of four best friends as they try their utmost to dominate the social scene and the constant shenanigans they get into. Hands down, one of the funniest shows I've ever watched. Please put this show at the top of your to-do list.
Wentworth
GiphyIts 2018, we can stop pretending OITNB is more than just a daydream..... like......................
Wentworth is an Australian show about an all women's prison serving ALL prison realness. The show is nonstop drama, nonstop uproars, and nonstop pain. This is the prison show we should be giving our attention to. The writing and acting on this show is so perfectly executed you feel for these characters. Give this show a chance, I guarantee you won't regret it.
