Its finals week once again. Which mean every college students is preparing for mental break downs, tears, and no sleep for a week. If you want to understand what it feeling like to be a college student, and see why we complain so much about school, take a look on the inside of our finals week, as told by the Grinch.

1) Absorbing all the information need for you final, and then timings it by 6 because your a 18 credit hour student.

2) Waiting to do anything besides study, and realizing you have no time to do anything else.

3) Just wanting to breakdown and cry, but knowing you also don't have time for that.

4) How you feel when your professor tells you what all is included in their final...acting like you don't have other classes


5) Telling yourself your not taking the final, you don't need the grade, and your dropping out

6) Realizing your kidding yourself and that you need this A and this degree

7) When your friends who are all finished with hell week, ask if you can come out of your cave (dorm room) and interact with them. Oh course you still have no time for that

8) When you once again tell your self that your not leaving to take your final.

9) When the week is finally over and your looking at the garden your professors gave you.


10) Your just so ready for christmas, because its was the little bit of positive hope that got you through the worst week in the semester,

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
