OK listen it's go time, round number two of eight. The week you have been waiting for and the only barrier between you and the beach. I have to remind you what happened last semester. I hate to bring it up but we have to address this, because you cannot do this again.

1. You waited last minute to study. The night before really was not the smartest idea.

2. You were drunk off of caffeine (It’s a thing people and the aftermath is not fun).

3. You introduced your caffeine addiction to your friend, who might have had more caffeine in her system than anything else and you guys managed to laugh at everything even if it really was not funny and went insane. We might have encouraged each other which will be a great story one day.

4. You spent every day at Starbucks which you can refer to point number two because this is why, you also like to people watch so you got nothing done there.

5. You studied with your friends, I think you guys might have watched more YouTube videos of cats than your studies.

(But I mean look at them).

6. You absolutely did not create a schedule or list to organize your daily task so you silently had anxiety attacks (I am beyond shocked because you organize everything).

7. You did not sleep and managed to stress eat and not healthy foods at that, good job.

You might have done well on your exams but you most definitely lost a little of yourself that week, luckily because of society you are able to blame it on being a first semester freshmen. But, not anymore.

So for this week…

1. DO NOT drink more than the military limit of caffeine (look it up).

2. Organize your life, plan meals and times to study certain subjects, Pace yourself.

3. Stay well rested because honey, bags under your eyes do not suit you.

4. Go over review problems and actually open your textbook.

5. Take a break, not a Netflix break but go get some exercise (maybe I will rethink this one).

6. Eat well, Vocellis does not fit under that umbrella.

7. Study in a good quiet area, not Starbucks because you will soon find the time frames that all the businessmen come in and just be there for that reason the next few days.

And finally do not stress just prepare yourself, you did not work hard for nothing!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
