Finals week is almost here and it's about time to say hello to winter break. We have come so far in the semester and we are almost at the finish line. Here are some tips to get you through the stressful week of exams and papers.
1. Make a to-do list
Keep yourself organized and assured of what has to get done. A to-do list will definitely prevent you from becoming overwhelmed.
2. Get some sleep
I know it may seem like a good idea to pull an all nighter to assure yourself you will get an A but you are wrong. Pulling an all nighter is a bad decision because you won't be able to retain all that information, your brain will be tired.
3. Turn off all social media accounts
Save yourself from all the unnecessary distractions. Just remember you have all of winter break to be on social media.
4. Try different methods of studying
If your usual method of studying works for you, then great keep it. If not, look into trying other methods of studying such as writing information on index cards or reading the textbook.
5. Take breaks
Your brain deserves and will need a break from all the studying you will be doing. Its healthy to take breaks as oppose to studying for a consecutive ten hours.
