The 2015 college football season ended with Alabama beating Clemson in a closely matched championship game. It was a fitting end to a year full of upsets and crazy plays. In honor of the season being over, I'm going to recap a few of this year's most unbelievable plays. These are not in any order, but just a collection of the best.
The Stanford Catch. Wide receiver Francis Owusu fought through pass interference and actually used the defender's body to his advantage during this miraculous catch.
Braxton Miller Spin Move. Braxton Miller should've been absolutely obliterated by two Virginia Tech players. He went from possibly being knocked out of the game to scoring one of the best touchdowns of the season.
Ole Miss Bobble Catch. Alabama did not have a perfect path to the championship game, and a huge part of the loss to Ole Miss was because of this unlikely play. An almost sack and an almost interception turned into a touchdown that ended up being the difference.
Michigan Flubbed Punt. Michigan is winning with ten seconds left, but they manage to have one of the biggest screw ups in the season. Michigan State ended up getting to the playoffs in a large part due to this freak play.
Alabama Onside Kick. Alabama surprised everyone by executing the perfect onside kick during the championship game. This kick turned all momentum around and gave Alabama exactly what it needed to win the game.
It's always tough for me to say goodbye to college football. I'll be counting down the days until September.
