You know when your mom asks you to explain the newfangled slang words and you have no clue how to do it?
This is your guide to those words and phrases that make absolutely zero sense, but you feel cool saying them. It’s okay to admit it. It’s trill.
1. Bye Felicia
Who the heck is Felicia?Fu Okay, but seriously. Basically, this phrase is used when someone you couldn't care less about leaves the room. Their name is now “Felicia," a random that no one is sad to see go. They are now irrelevant.
Okay, I’m gonna go.
Bye Felicia!
2. Fam

According to Urban Dictionary, “fam” is used to describe people you trust the most, that aren’t actually your flesh and blood. AKA your best friend or your Starbucks barista.
That’ll be a grande, no whip, skinny peppermint mocha?
Yasss, thanks fam.
3. Squad Goals
When you and your friends are the epitome of awesomeness. You actually encompass every great squad pulled together. You’re Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Joey and Marshall, Ted, Lily, Robin and Barney all rolled into one squad that everyone wants to be.
Wanna get dinner at 5:00 tomorrow?
Yeah, squad goals.
4. Bae
"Bae" stands for Before Anyone Else or Before Anything Else. Also used to describe the boy or girl that you’re currently talking to but not dating. Also could be used to describe your BFF.
Bae was lookin’ good today in his grey hoodie.
5. Netflix and Chill
This phrase is used when you want to casually hang out with a romantic interest without going on an actual date, and is usually accompanied with more chilling than actual Netflix, if you catch my drift.
Netflix and chill later?
