My Favorite YouTubers and What They've Taught Me
blogspot

I watch a lot of YouTube, as I'm sure a lot of people today do as well. I enjoy YouTube because it's real, for the most part. It shows people's day to day lives, good and bad, and shows their experiences. There are a lot of YouTubers that aren't so great, but to make up for that, there are plenty that are inspiring and real, true people. Believe it or not, I've learned a lot from these inspiring YouTubers. So, here's some of my favorite YouTubers and what they've taught me, and I hope you can maybe find a good YouTuber from this list as well.

1. Zoella

Also known as Zoe Sugg, Zoe is a British YouTuber from Brighton who has videos about beauty, makeup, hauls, home decor, and many others. She also has a vlogging channel where she occasionally posts videos about her every day life. Zoe is an extremely down-to-Earth person with a wonderful personality. Her videos are always so comforting and relaxing, and they always make me feel extremely at ease. Zoe also suffers from panic attacks and anxiety, so gives lots of tips to her viewers that have it as well. Zoe has taught me that despite having anxiety, you can do anything. She's taught me that I can break out of my shell, and even if things get too much, I can always pick myself back up again.

2. Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil

Otherwise known as Dan Howell and Phil Lester, are two other British YouTubers who makes comedy videos and skits, as well as have a gaming channel together called DanandPhilGames. They're both roommates and best friends and they're both really relatable and very funny. They're also very nerdy and embrace this. Both of their videos are very open and honest about themselves and they make you feel as if you're not alone if you're also a homebody and a nerd as they are. Phil's videos are pretty much the same as Dan's, except Phil's are a little more light-hearted. Dan has taught me that it's okay to be a nerd and to make fun of yourself every once in awhile, because not everyone's perfect. Phil has taught me to embrace being a little strange sometimes, and to find the beauty in everything.

3. CutiePieMarzia

Marzia Bisognin, an Italian YouTuber who lives in the UK, also makes fashion and style videos, as well as vlogs, hauls, recipe videos, and more. Marzia is extremely shy and softspoken. She's also very kind and compassionate. She's another YouTuber that makes me feel calm just by watching her videos, as well as inspiring me to create something new. Marzia's taught me that it's okay to be shy, and to wear things that are sometimes out of your comfort zone. She's also taught me that you can do anything you set your mind to.

4. Good Mythical Morning

Also known as Rhett and Link, they are YouTubers who grew up in North Carolina together and have been best friends since then. They have a show on YouTube called Good Mythical Morning where they do different challenges, the most popular being Will It and Taste Test Challenges, and they also do quizzes. Rhett and Link have become so popular that they have made their own business out of GMM and have a whole crew that helps them. Their videos are always very funny and never fail to make me laugh. Rhett and Link work unbelievably well off of each other and they've taught me that you can achieve anything if you try hard enough, and being funny doesn't always have to be difficult.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
