If you’re like me, you might find yourself frequenting YouTube in search of the best makeup and skincare products for your skin type, while also staying in check with the latest beauty trends. Or, if you’re not like me, and you know very little about makeup, you might find yourself here as well. Nonetheless, most females are interested in learning about makeup (how to apply it and what some of the best products out there are) no matter what age. YouTube is one of the best places to go to for beauty and makeup tips and tutorials, and you will find an endless amount of makeup tutorials for every skin type, skin color, special event and price budget—since staying cute and saving money is one of my biggest concerns in life. After watching hundreds of videos on YouTube from dozens of different channels, I have devised a list of my favorite top four YouTube channel beauty vloggers (who have under 500,000 subscribers) based on their content, personality, video quality and versatility between high-end makeup products and drug store products.

1. Mariah Leonard

The reason why I love Mariah’s channel so much is because she gives her good and honest opinion about both high-end and drug store products, while emphasizing what products are worth the price and what other products you can find similar dupes for. Not only is her content awesome (I really think that she is an underrated beauty channel on YouTube—quite the hidden gem) but she’s so cute, and makes her videos fun and easy to follow.

Recommended videos:

2. Symphani Soto

Not only is she gorgeous, but she gives her gives helpful tips to her viewers on great products to use on acne, acne scarring and dry skin. Symphani has created makeup looks that can be worn every day, and makeup looks that are totally glammed out! Not only that, but she has a plethora of videos that use makeup brands you can find at drug stores for extremely affordable prices. Definitely check out Symphani’s channel for cute new looks using affordable brands.

3. ThatGirlShaeXO

Check out Shae’s YouTube channel for everything that is skin care and makeup and fun. She is so quirky and cool I can’t help but watch her videos for hours and actually laugh out loud at some of her bloopers and hysterical comments. The products she uses in her tutorials linger more on the higher-end scale, however she gives her honest opinion on everything she uses—good or bad. Anything you might want to learn about or see done in cosmetics, chances are that Shae already has a video for it! Shae is constantly responding to her viewer’s comments, and is always open to feedback, suggestions and requests!

Recommended videos:

4. Bella Fiori

This cute little Aussie has a charming personality and accent that makes her videos so fun and a delight to watch! She is so easy-going and loves to interact with her subscribers. Bella only uses cruelty-free makeup products, provides really great content in her videos. Her tutorials are great for all ages, and are extremely versatile in regards to a smoky-eye or no-makeup makeup looks. Definitely check out Bella’s channel for a refreshing take on everything makeup.

Recommended videos:

Honestly, each of these channels are unique and are in no way better than one another. These just happen to be my top four favorites that I like to watch a lot, and I always look forward to new videos from each. I think that all of these channels are highly underrated vlogs, and deserve a lot more attention than they're getting! If you're someone who is interested in makeup and skin care you should definitely check out these channels for new makeup ideas and suggestions for great products from both drugs stores and high-end brands.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
