Much of the literature on mental health enters the world (and stays) in the academic sphere - full of jargon, littered with statistics as well as methodologies, and rarely accessible without a university email or access to a scientific library.
As deeply troubling as I find that, I have been pleasantly surprised to see that over the past couple years, I have been able to find more articles and videos floating around on social media. While not all of the information is up-to-date or free of biases, I have put together below a collection of websites, blogs, videos, and a couple of my favorite articles as easily accessible resources around the subject of mental health!
1. Americanization of Mental Health Article
This article discusses the unique way mental health around the globe has been shaped by United States Americans' symptomatology, diagnoses, and cultural standards. Examining mental health differences around the world is particularly important as we continue the trend of globalization and I believe it is of utmost importance to approach mental health around the world outside the perspective of the "Americanization" of it.

Short, easy, fun reads!
