Living in the 21st century, who would you say is the most talked about family— the Kennedys, Beckhams, Bushs, Obamas, or Kardashians? The way today’s society is structured and with the focus on TVs, computers and social media have made the Kardashian family famous. Today we all know Kim Kardashian is married to Kanye, Kourtney has her problems with Scott, and Kylie has green hair. Fame does not happen overnight, especially this type of fame. The family has grown and changed in the past century and many of us might forget or know how they came to be.
The family started with the marriage of Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner in 1978. Shortly after Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob were born. The couple divorced shortly after having four kids in 1991. How did the family go from your typical American family to a household name? Robert Kardashian, father, defended O.J. Simpson in trial when he murdered his wife Nicole Simpson. Some say that a piece of the divorce was because Kris was friends with Nicole and Robert was defending a man who killed her friend. Shortly after the divorce, Kris married Bruce Jenner (now known as Caitlyn Jenner) and had Kendall and Kylie. Around 2004 Kim Kardashian and sisters started to take the light by fashion and styling world. The reason some say the fame of Kim and the entire family took off was the sex tape Kim made with her boyfriend of the time Ray J.

Yes Kim is famous for her beauty and reality tv show, but Kim is not found without a boy on her arm at all times. Kim’s most well know boyfriends were Ray J (married) , Kick Lachey, Nick Cannon, Reggie Bush, Damon Thomas, Kris Humphries (married), and now married to Kanye West.
Kourtney:
-Known for her back and forth drama with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick
-Now has three kids Mason, Penelope and Reign
-Only Kardashian to go to college, alma mater was University of Arizona
-Not only on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York
-Got breast implants when she turned 22
Khloe:
-Married in 7 days to Lamar Odom, but divorced a few years later
-Struggled with the death of her father for years causing her to gain weight
-Suffered a traumatic brain injury causing her to have long-term memory loss
-Was in jail for 30 days for driving under the influence
-On Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Fashion Police, Khloe and Lamar, The X Factor, Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons

-Appeared on Dance with the Stars in 2011
Kendall (Jenner):
-Appeared in this years Victoria Secret Fashion Show
-Started modeling at the age of 14 in 2009 and started off at Forever 21
-Named one of 30 Most Influential Teens of the year in 2014 and 2015
-She has 48.7 million followers on Instagram (me being one of those)
-Started her own clothing line: The Kendall & Kylie Collection found at PacSun
Kylie (Jenner):
-Known for her big lips and created The Kylie Lip Kit
-Started her own clothing line: The Kendall & Kylie Collection found at PacSun
-Known her dramatic hair color changes
-Currently dating Tyga
-She does model, but not as much as Kendall
Kris:
-Married to Robert Kardashian and Bruce Jenner (Caitlyn Jenner)
-Manager of all her kid’s careers

-She has had multiple affairs
-She loves the cameras on her
