Every Retail Workers Christmas List

Oh, the joys of the holidays. People are happy, excited, and ready for the most wonderful time of the year. People enjoy the holiday's and obtain no stress, at all. What a magical world to live i-, just kidding. This is 2016, and we're in America. Christmas, while is is still a wonderful and magical time for many, can unfortunately create anxiety, stress, and most of all, rudeness out of the nicest people. Guess who get's to spend their holidays with these kinds of people? Retail workers! Here are some of the things you can find on any retail worker's list this holiday season.

1. Not to be screamed at by a stranger 10x a shift. Am I asking too much?

2. To enjoy the one (maybe) holiday I get off of work.

3. Wishing I could tell angry customers to calm down because they'll be put on the naughty list.

4. To never have another return, ever. Nope, sorry, we discontinued returning things.

5. To never have anything physically thrown at my face because it wasn't the price a customer was hoping for. Sure, it's my fault. Happy Holidays!

6. To ban anyone from entering the store starting 10 minutes until closing.

7. To never get screamed at because my store charges for gift boxes. "You charge? WOOOOOOOW" "Yes, sorry."

8. Never be asked questions as I am running to my beloved break.

9. To never have anyone on the team call out sick, especially on Christmas Eve.

10. To have time to actually shop for my family's presents.

11. To be able to yell at people when they touch you're freshly folded tables/walls. "Back away from the denim wall, just back away."

12. Never having to do a price check again, now that would be a Christmas miracle.

13. To never get yelled at again because we didn't have what a customer was searching for.

14. To have all pleasant, happy, and joyful customers otherwise, they are not allowed to shop.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
