Even When It Hurts..

"Even when it makes no sense to sing; Louder then, I'll sing your praise." Sometimes it does't make sense to sing, sometimes life throws situations and circumstances that are difficult, heartbreaking, painful... Sing. Sing God's praises. It doesn't make sense, it's wild.. Your situation might not change for some time. You might not feel like worshipping, or praising. There might not seem like anything to praise God for. But prophesy over yourself until you do feel it. Make people question, make people ask, "How? How are they so strong?" It's not anything in your ability, but the strength of God inside of you.

God is good. All the time. When nothing is going right, He is still good. When everything is falling apart, He is still good. When everything is going in our favor, He is good. Why praise Him only when he is good? That isn't faith, that isn't trust, that isn't love. "Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting them not to." Too many people don't love like this, which is why relationships and friendships don't work out, and the ugly truth is that people do hurt us. (Continue to love with the same power.) But God? He will never give us too much to bear, if a situation that God has called you into seems hurtful, He is ALWAYS thinking about the future. His ways are higher, His thoughts are wilder. His love is untamed.

So praise Him. Praise Him in the good, praise Him in the bad. 1.) the enemy doesn't know how to defend that. 2.) God is working in your life in this very moment. Be still, and know that He is God. He has amazing plans for your life.

Psalm 120:1 "I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer."

Philippians 1:6 "And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished."

Praise Him until the work is finished. And then praise Him some more.
