Eruption
Burn, dear cheeks,
From coal to ash, combustion
Leaves in cinders smoldering
As eyes grasp upon
Him whose blond blurs
Everything around him.
My mouth dwells in a lake,
Rivers running along its banks,
Sending surges down the mountainside,
An avalanche of oxytocin.
And as body feels the landslide,
Time dilates, eyes
Stand catatonic in stunned shivers.
And those cinders cave into
Volcanoes that erupt the surrounding earth
Into molten roses, blooming a bright
Blazing pink
Amidst the extreme.
