Being a girl isn't easy, but when you add heat and the summer sun, it gets just a little harder.
1. Humidity strikes.
All of the backyard parties and patio bars can really kill those of us with naturally curly hair. What's the point of even doing it if you're going to have to put it up in five minutes because it's a frizz ball2. Awkward tan lines.
You tried to be golden all over, but you're impatient and now you look like a black and white cookie.3. Not feeling tan enough.
Just when you thought you were tan enough to look good, you hang out with your friends who look like a totally different race and LOVE to brag about it. Now you feel like Edward Cullen standing next to the cast of "The Jersey Shore."
4. The same boys.
Chances are you came home for the summer and back to the same guys you've known since middle school. Everything's boring, you've seen all this before. Where are all of the hot older guys you talk to when you're not in your hometown?
5. Picking the right outfit.
Summer can be so unpredictable. Cooler at night and hot during the day, so bipolar! Plus we have to ask our friends if they're actually wearing appropriate clothes or "summer appropriate/looks like I'm half naked" clothes before we go out. It's a difficult process.
6. Creepy guys everywhere
Yes, you understand that you may not be wearing a ton of clothes. It's 85 degrees and you're at the beach. That isn't an open invitation for the creepy guy who's been staring at you for the past hour to come hit on you.
7. Shaving every day.
You had it so easy in the winter, nobody questioned you if you didn't shave your legs for a week while you were wearing long pants.
8. Sweating in public.
You knew crowded frat basements back at college were gross, but everyone there was sweaty. Now you're at an outdoor bar talking to a cute guy and this is just not acceptable.
