Being healthier doesn't have to mean overhauling! From eating more nutritious foods to attending that paint-night class, yes hobbies are important- these quick-and-easy tweaks to your daily routine that can make you feel like a million, zillion bucks.

Let's get this straight, health is about your mental state and your over-all well being. It is much larger than physicality.

It is not about your weight, appearance, or any form of expensive attire of fitness clothing! Ladies, don’t even bother stepping on the scale, throw that out, you are more than a number! Stop comparing yourself.

Health is a much bigger, bolder, and brighter picture, with the perfect hue! Health is about taking good care of you, inside and outside. It is about doing things in your day that simply makes you happy. Removing toxicity is key to becoming healthier in order to be relaxed and content. Find stability in your everyday life. Form patterns and schedule your time wisely. Prioritize but keep it enjoyable, don’t be too hard on yourself.

1st Always get a good nights rest

- If you can’t fall asleep, meditate in your head

- Put down your phone, even more so, sleep away from it, or shut it off completely

- Even if you have a crazy-hard exam the next day, studies show that the more sleep you get, the better you will do. So, it’s actually not worth cramming for

2nd Eat delicious food

- Make it nutritious

- Make it snap-chat, Instagram-worthy, it’ll help you with portion control. What you eat is what you wear on the outside. Don’t stuff yourself, make room for other small meals

- Save money by not eating out or eating on the go. Make great food right at home, it’ll actually save you so much time and make you less stressed out

3rd Drink plenty of water

- Don’t even bother drinking out of plastic water bottles. Keep your own glass, or other form of reuseable bottle in your car, bag pack, kitchen, ect. Make it yours.

- Flavor your water: mint, lemon, lime, strawberry: with the actual thing itself, not sugary flavored liquid

4th Make time for you

- Go on evening walks, read amazing books, and watch your favorite TV show

- Put down your phone once in awhile, get off social media for a little

- Go to that spin class, attend that Zumba class and do that workout with your gym buddy!

5th Enjoy the healthy life, find passion in becoming a better you

- Take on running or a sport that interests you

- Make working out fun by going with a friend if the gym is what you want to do

- Find cooking meals or snack making to be a form of art, portray it how you want to portray yourself; hence, the pretty picture that suites this article

- Don’t count calories, macros or even bother with scales

Lastly,

- Be kind to people around you and distance yourself from whatever doesn’t make you happy or healthy
