It’s bound to happen. People who go to parties in the office or universities can face the challenge of waking up the next morning with a massive headache. The day after can really affect your next day and leave you throbbing in pain and misery. This is especially bad if you have work to go to or class the next morning.
Common symptoms of hangovers include, headaches, light sensitivity, achy muscles, diarrhea, and vomiting. The good news is that fortunately, hangovers can be cured and with a little effort, you can get through your day. Here is what to do in order to cure that hangover:
1. Drink some water.
This should be a no brainer. Drinking water during a night of heavy drinking can lessen hangover symptoms in a day. They say that for every shot of hard liquor, glass of wine, can of beer you drink, you should have one glass of water to dilute the alcohol. Always have a bottle of water near you at all times.
2. Try a sports drink.
3. Avoid caffeine.
While a drink of coffee can give you a boost it can also give you a headache. If you are an avid coffee drinker you will probably get withdrawals by avoiding caffeine a day after a hangover. Try taking an aspirin with a coffee to help alleviate the pounding headache.4. Try a hot bowl of ramen.

5. Avoid aspirin if necessary.
If you feel the beginning of a hangover do not take painkillers for it. Painkillers can create a horrible mix with alcohol in your system and can create terrible after-effects.6. Pickle juice.
Now this may seem like a weird remedy but people say that it works. Pickle Juice has vinegar, salt, and electrolytes which can definitely help you. All you need is 2 ounces of it in a shotglass. Drink it in the morning or before you go to bed.7. Don't drink orange juice.
Orange juice is highly acidic and can already upset a sensitive stomach. Try to stay away from OJ and instead try other juices like grape juice or apple juice.
8. Get some sleep.
If you feel as if your hangover is too severe, maybe some rest and a hot shower can do you some good. It has helped me many times when I came back from a rough night.
With these tips in mind please take extra care in dealing with your hangover. Stay close to lots of liquids and away from any bright lights and you should be fine. Always remember to stay safe and drink responsibly.
