You know how people say that laughter is the best medicine? It's honestly one of the truest statements out there. There are so many things in your life that are so serious and you can get so wrapped up in but if you always remind yourself to try to see the humor in any situation because it's the only thing that will make like so enjoyable.
If you have the crappiest day in the world, the only thing that might turn it around is something that you see online that could potentially be the stupidest thing in the world. People might actually thing you're crazy but as long as you crack a smile and laugh at the end of the day, you feel so much better about everything. You can actually go from being so frustrated or so angry to rolling on the floor laughing when you see something that strikes your humor in the correct way and it's the best way to turn the day around.
When you're upset, there is nothing like having your best friend crack the stupidest joke in the world that has you rolling around on the floor 30 seconds later. You can actually be hysterically crying about some stupid boy, stressed about life or any drama that is happening around you, but then you start laughing. And even though you couldn't keep yourself together ten minutes ago because everything was falling apart, you realize that even though it's not right now, everything will eventually work out and be okay.
Have you ever been so stressed out that you can't even keep your head straight for ten minutes and then you just start laughing at how ridiculous everything is? How ridiculous it is that you're so stressed out that you can't even focus on anything except how stressed you are? How absolutely crazy is that? And you realize how funny it is that you're letting yourself get like that so you just start laughing. It seriously changes your entire mood and mindset. The best is when you laugh about how stressed you are that it actually relieves you of all of that stress and then you just aren't stressed anymore. You're in such a better place when you realize how absurd your stress was and then everything changes and you're totally fine.
Laughter is hands down the best medicine in the world. You might not laugh for a while because of everything weighing on your and how much you have going on, but when you do, you realize how much you just needed to laugh. You needed to just let loose and find the humor in the craziness of life and the stress of everything. You realize that you just need to try to look at the world a little differently and try to realize that nothing is that serious. I mean, at the end of the day, it's just life and if you're not having fun then what are you doing?
