The plan to a greater America

Donald Trump's 100 Day Plan
The Trump Report

With all of the protests going on against new President-Elect Donald Trump, I thought it would be relevant to discuss what America is going to actually see in the next four years and more specifically, the first 100 days he takes office. Yesterday, Donald Trump released his "100 Day Plan" to the citizens of the United States. The term "100 Day Plan" was first coined by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933. Since then it has been used to provide insight into what the newly elected president plans to accomplish with his term. He stated seven points to how he will "Make America Great Again," and provided ten legislative measures that will either be enacted or revoked to better serve Americans. Listed below are the acts and what each will accomplish:

1. Trump plans to enact the Middle-Class Tax Relief and Simplification Act. He hopes to create millions of more jobs all while reducing taxes with the middle class receiving the largest tax cut. He also plans to grow the economy by 4% each year of his presidency.

2. Donald Trump is seeking to end the Offshoring Act. This will create tariffs to encourage companies to not lay off our hard-working Americans.

3. He plans to enact the American Energy and Infrastructure Act. This will use tax incentive for public and private investments to see an increase of $1 trillion in infrastructural investments over the next ten years.

4. He will propose the School Choice and Education Opportunity Act. This plan is to make it easier for parents to send their children to whichever school they so choose to whether it be private, public, charter, religious, or home school.

5. Trump seeks to repeal and replace Obamacare. He will replace it with Health Savings Accounts which lets Americans purchase health insurance across state lines and allows states to manage their own Medicaid funds. It will also allow the FDA to approve life-saving medications much faster.

6. Donald Trump wishes to create the Affordable Childcare and Eldercare Act. This will let Americans deduct child and elder care from their taxes along with encouraging businesses and employers to provide childcare services to the employees.

7. He plans to end the Illegal Immigration Act. Trump will build the wall on our Southern border with Mexico reimbursing us the cost. It rewrites visa laws and ensures jobs will be given to American workers first.

8. Trump seeks to enact the Restoring Community Safety Act. He will create a Task Force on Violent Crimes which in return will reduce crimes, drugs, and violence.

9. Donald Trump plans to create the Restoring National Security Act. He will rebuild the United States Military by increasing investments. It will reduce cyber attacks on the country and rework the immigration process. This act also allows Veterans to be able to seek out a private doctor of their choice or receive public VA treatment.

10. Donald plans to create the Clean Up Corruption in Washington Act. This act is also known as "Draining the Swamp," and it will reduce the corruption-influences on politics.

By enacting certain acts, Donald Trump, our 45th President of the United States, will indeed "Make America Great Again." The acts he plans on revoking will prove to be beneficial the American citizens. These changes will heal the nation physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. He has a long way to go, and it will definitely take longer than a mere 100 days, but Donald Trump will bring our people together in unity and in trust making us a great nation as well as "One Nation Under God" again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
