Ever wonder what our current candidates were like before they began the race for presidency? So much of what we know about the current presidential elections is current news that we come to find out through the media. Especially for Mr. Donald Trump, who has been in the spotlight for years for debatable reasons. Here is a look into Trump's past to get a better idea of who more than 36 percent of Americans might be voting for.
Donald John Trump was born June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York to Fredrick and Mary Trump. At the age of 13, Trump was sent to the New York Military Academy where he excelled. He graduated from Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics. Following in his father's footsteps, Trump was handed down his father's real estate developing company, Elizabeth Trump & Son, in 1971. Business went through turbulence and trials before Trump was finally named as one of the most controversial and successful developers in 1980. Excelling in the business and sometimes having to pick which battles to fight were obstacles that made Trump so popular. This proved to be true on NBC’s reality TV show, "The Apprentice." After gaining national publicity, and several attempts since the early 2000s, he finally announced he would be running for president with the Republican Party in the 2016 elections.
Today, his controversial candidacy is means to delve deeper into who Trump actually is. Take a look at his Twitter, for example, being an outlet for him to say just about anything and everything. After quite a bit of scrolling, I found a few tweets that really opened my eyes to what our future president could actually be like. That’s the fantastic thing about social media: it gives people the means to practically have a conversation with someone as exclusive as the president of the United States! Here’s how an interview with Trump might go!
“How do you feel about President Obama's Presidency?”
Trump obviously cares deeply about the future black generation of America and how President Obama has ruined their chances at politics. Because, presidential candidates should be grouped into categories like the color of their skin, or gender. Unless you’re white, then it doesn’t matter how much you screw up.
‘What are your thoughts on Hillary Clinton running for President?”
Low blows seem to be a essential for future presidents.
“What do you think about unreported sexual assault in the military?”
Spot on! The problem is not about offenders not sexually assaulting people, rather, people just avoiding them, and if they don’t avoid them, then this behavior is to be expected.
Despite Trump's aggressive and ill-mannered remarks in person, all too often he has given the world insight into his mind through his Twitter as well. Trump's Twitter is surely a place where morals, dignity, and presidential qualities come to die. But don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself at https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor to see if you would re-tweet, favorite or block his tweets from your timeline! That’s Donald Trump for you, ‘making America great again,’ one tweet at a time!
