If you consider yourself a feminist, do not consider Donald Trump for president

How Donald Trump Really Feels About Women

I am never one to discuss politics or even care at all, but the way Donald Trump speaks and refers to women is outrageous and disgusting. Donald Trump’s political views aside, I am strictly talking about how he thinks about women as objects rather than human beings. We should not even consider him as a presidential candidate if he is going to mistreat half the country’s population. This infuriates me and it should make you feel this way as well.

The first incident that got my attention was with Megyn Kelly, the FOX News anchor. It all started when Megyn Kelly asked Donald Trump a question at the republican debate last year that he didn’t seem to like, and he lashed out at her on Twitter with numerous Tweets calling the news anchor a bimbo, crazy and insulting her profession. It is one thing for Trump to disagree with what Kelly has to say, but to create unnecessary drama and lash out on Twitter calling her insulting, sexist names is unacceptable. And get this, the question Megyn Kelly asked Donald trump at the debate was about his history of talking about women. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Something else creepy and disgusting is that Donald Trump has made numerous comments, several times commenting on the fact that his own daughter is hot. In a Rolling Stone article Trump makes this comment about Ivanka “yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . . ”. That is disgusting and disturbing that Donald Trump finds his own daughter attractive and would say something so vulgar about her in an interview. And to make it even worse, this is not the first time he has said something like this about his daughter. While on The View, he also commented on Ivanka’s body and her posing for Playboy and said that he would date her.

Trump also has some interesting campaign materials, and by interesting I mean vulgar and insulting. There is a car magnet with Trump’s face and Hillary’s face and in bold letters spell out, “Trump That Bitch”. The picture of Trump’s face is clear and him smiling while Hillary has a horrible blurry picture with her not looking as nice as Trump does. The profanity combined with the awful representation has Trump’s name written all over it, literally. This is an awful representation of the woman presidential candidate and how Trump thinks of her.

“You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young, and beautiful, piece of ass.” Yes, Donald Trump really did say this in a 1991 Esquire interview. Once again, Donald Trump is letting everyone know that he has no respect for women and only thinks of them as sexual objects. The only things that matter to him are having a young hot beautiful woman to look at and show off.

Trump also took to Twitter to comment on Hillary Clinton running for president by saying "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?" Leave it to Donald Trump to focus on the fact that women are only good for sex and they have to please men. In the running for the president of the United States or not, there is no reason for Trump to be saying things like this and disrespecting a fellow presidential candidate and especially attacking the candidate that is a woman.

Someone needs to deactivate Trump’s Twitter account and educate him on how to properly treat and speak about women. There is no reason why he should even be considered to be our president if he is going to use vulgar language and attack women like this.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
