Donald Trump has been known for his offensive remarks and pompous attitude well before entering the 2016 presidential race. Whether it is seen through his xenophobic behavior, attacks against individuals with disabilities or making racist remarks, Trump never fails to leave us speechless. Trump has recently stated that he will be great for women if he is elected into office this November, but some of the most insensitive comments that he has made were against women. Here are the top 5 sexist comments made by Donald Trump.
1. “You wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful."
To begin, one of the most shocking things to come from Donald Trumps mouth was from an interview during the 2014 Miss America pageant. Trump was doing an interview with a young woman when he began to talk about political correctness on outer-beauty when he directed his attention to the reporter and stated that the only reason she was a reporter was based solely on her looks.Trump went on to say how his comment was misconstrued, but it's a bit challenging to find where to victimize him in his comment which can be found in the video below around the 5:00 mark.
2. “If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?”
In a tweet sent out in April 2015, Trump quoted a follower of his who made the comment and sent it out to his millions of followers. With Clinton recently making history as the first women to win a major parties nomination for President of the United States, we can only sit back and wait to see how the Democratic nominee will react to such comments made by her rival.
3. “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
One of the most disturbing and creepy things ever stated in human history comes from a 2006 interview on "The View," when Trump was asked what his opinion would be if his daughter, Ivanka, were to pose for Playboy magazine. Rather than saying he would be disappointed like any other father, he decided to take things a bit further. Trump blatantly stated that his daughter, Ivanka, had "a nice figure" and would probably date her. So, not only does Trump believe in walls, he also would probably have sex with his own daughter.
4. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her — wherever.”
The infamous feud between Trump and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly began after Kelly was a moderator for a Republican debate and grilled Trump for his sexist remarks. Trump was not very happy after the debate and relentlessly made one of the most talked about comments throughout his campaign.
