I'm sure you have heard the saying, "dog is man's best friend." I know I have, and while I love my dogs, sometimes they go a little unappreciated. Dogs really are the best friends that humans can have, and here's why:

They won't break your heart

But they may lick your face off.

They comfort you when you're upset

And it puts you in a better mood.

They're cuter than humans

No doubt about it.

They ALWAYS give you attention

Even when you don't want it.


They won't ditch you

Your plans are always on.

They will always cuddle with you

And keep you warm.

They'll go anywhere with you

They love going for a ride.

They will always eat your leftovers

And then beg for more.

They don't discriminate

They love everyone and anything.

They can always make you smile

With all the silly things they do.
