Disney has recently announced the films that it plans to release in the next few years. The upcoming lineup includes long awaited sequels along with new ones. Prepare yourself for many nights at the movies.

1. Alice Through the Looking Glass

This film hits theaters May 27, 20016 and is a sequel to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. It will star Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp along with Anne Hathaway and Helena Donham Carter.

2. The BFG

On July 1, 2016 we can all enjoy a Roald Dahl classic directed by Steven Spielberg in theaters.

3. Finding Dory

We have all been waiting for this sequel since the original Finding Nemo came out in 2003. This film will be in theaters June 17, 20016 staring Ellen DeGeneres as Dory.

4. Pete's Dragon

This magical tale will be in theaters August 12, 2016.

5. Doctor Strange

This film will be released November 4, 2016. It was produced by Marvel Studios and will star Benedict Cumberbatch.

6. Moana

Disney will be introducing their newest princess on November 23, 2016. This story takes place on an island in the South Pacific and stars Dwayne Johnson, Alan Tudyk, and Auli’i Caravalho.

7. Beauty and the Beast

This live action film starring Emma Watson, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, and Josh Gad will be released March 17, 2017.

8. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2

This sequel to the original Guardians of the Galaxy will be in theaters May 5, 2017.

9. Cars 3

A third Cars movie will be in theaters June 16, 2017. Rumor has it that this film takes place on California’s Route 99.

10. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Jack Sparrow will be back on the big screen on July 7, 2017 to star in the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

11. Coco

Produced by Disney’s Pixar and inspired by the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos, this film will be in theaters November 22, 2017.

12. Star Wars: Episode VIII

The title of this film is not known yet, but have your lightsabers ready because it will be in theaters December 15, 2017.

13. Gigantic

Disney’s animated take on Jack and the Beanstalk will be in theaters March 9, 2018.

14. Toy Story 4

After Toy Story 3 broke all of our hearts, Disney has announced that Toy Story 4 will be in theaters June 15, 2018. In this sequel, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is reunited with Bo Peep.

15. The Incredibles 2

Lastly, the long awaited sequel to the original The Incredibles from 2004 will be in theaters June 21, 2019.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
