I love Disney, always have and always will. Whenever asked "what's your favorite movie?" my answer is always "anything Disney!" But the animated movies are not-so-secretly my favorite because I'm a 5-year-old at heart. I get very excited when Disney announces new movies. I'm also especially ecstatic that they're creating sequels and live-action movies to some of my childhood favorites such as 'Finding Nemo', 'Incredibles', 'Cinderella' and 'Beauty and the Beast'. To make it easier for you, I've complied a list of Disney movies to be released in 2017. So put on your Mickey ears or Princess crown and get excited for this year's Disney movies!

1. Beauty and the Beast – March 17th

After the success of Disney's 2015 live-action Cinderella, Disney now brings us the live-action re-telling of the animated classic 'Beauty and the Beast'. The film refashioned the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music in addition with several new songs. 'Beauty and the Beast' is the story of Belle: a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast.

2. 'Disney Nature: Born in China' – April 21st

Disneynature, in its ongoing quest to bring the natural world to the big screen as never before, presents its most ambitious project to date, taking moviegoers on a grand journey into the wilds of China. 'Born In China' follows the adventures of three animal families—the majestic panda, the savvy golden monkey and the elusive snow leopard. Featuring stunning imagery, the film navigates the vast terrain of China—from the frigid mountains to the heart of the bamboo forest. This film showcases remarkably intimate family moments captured on film for the first time ever.

See 'Born in China' opening week and Disneynature will make a donation in your honor to World Wildlife Fund to help protect wild panda populations and establish new conservation programs for snow leopards in China.

3. 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Vol. 2 – May 5th

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our hero's aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand. And if Marvel movies aren't your thing than at least watch the film for baby Groot because he is the cutest Marvel hero.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - May 26th

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The fifth Pirates of the Caribbean depicts a roaring adventure as Captain Jack feels the winds of misfortune blowing his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar escape from the Devil's Triangle. Salazar and his crew are bent on killing every pirate at sea—most notably Jack. Jack's only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an alliance with Carina Smyth, a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry, a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of misfortune, but to save his very life from the most difficult and malicious foe he has ever faced.

5. Cars 3 - June 16th

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician with her own plan to win, inspiration from the fabulous Hudson Hornet, and a few unexpected turns along the way. Proving that #95 isn't through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage! From this moment, everything will change.

6. Thor: Ragnarok - November 3rd

In Marvel Studio's Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his might hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But he must first survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger - the Incredible Hulk.

7. Coco - November 22nd

Coco follows the secret musical ambitions of 12 year old Miguel, who resides in a lively, loud Mexican village but comes from a family of shoemakers that may be the town’s only music-hating household. For generations, the Riveras have banned music because they believe they’ve been cursed by it. As their family history goes, Miguel’s great-great-grandfather abandoned his wife decades earlier to follow his own dreams of performing, leaving Miguel’s great-great-grandmother to take control as the head of the family and declare music dead to the family forever.

But Miguel harbors a secret desire to seize his musical moment, inspired by his favorite singer of all time, the late Ernesto De la Cruz. It’s only after Miguel discovers an amazing link between himself and De la Cruz that he takes action to emulate the famous singer and, in doing so, accidentally enters the Land of the Dead.

In the beautiful underworld, it’s not long until Miguel encounters the souls of his own family. Given the opportunity to roam around the Land of the Dead, Miguel decides to track down De la Cruz. He teams up with another friendly (and skeletal) spirit — a trickster named Hector — to find De la Cruz, earn his family’s blessing to perform, and return to the Land of the Living before time runs out.

8. Star Wars: Episode VIII - December 15th

And finally, as for Star Wars, Disney has yet to release the synopsis of the eighth installment of the Star Wars film franchise. So as for now, you'll just have to sit tight and be excited that there's a new one along the way!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
