Disney Truly Is The Most Happiest Place On Earth

Is Walt Disney World truly the happiest place on earth?

The answer is yes.

Well, at least for me that answer is qualified as a yes. Walt Disney World is located in the heart of Orlando, Florida. It is filled with thrills, relaxation, romance, and so much more. With four theme parks, two water parks, twenty-eight Disney resorts, and even its own shopping district, there is no way that you can't be happy at a place like Disney.

Growing up I was always going to Disney with my family every summer. It is what I was brought into and came to love like no other. It started to become my second home and when being gone from that home away from home, you start to have what I like to call Post Disney Depression. As soon as you step foot off Disney property, you start to wonder, "When will I be back? Will anything change in the year that I'm gone? Will time drag by so incredibly slow that I'll feel like I'm fifty when I go back?" These thoughts, for me, always run through my mind and as soon as I get back to the reality of my life, I never stop thinking about Disney.

Disney runs through my veins and makes my heart pump. It is my life line and the one place I can truly be happy. Sure, being at home, spending time with family and friends is excellent, but there is just something about Disney that makes you forget the worries of tomorrow while you live in the moment of today.

Forget about those bills you have to pay monthly, the doctors appointments you are dreading to go to, and the oh so grim job you have to attend to almost every day. Those things are nonexistent when you are at a place like Disney. You get to live out your dreams of being whoever you want to be. You are able to act on the fun you always wanted to have. Whether that fun be riding all of the thrill rides, dressing up as your favorite princess, or even getting the opportunity to dine with your favorite characters, mine being Winnie the Pooh, this is all a getaway from your troubles you are facing in reality.

This fantasy you are grateful to escape to is something so magical that you truly wonder if it is real. You frantically try to make other people see what you see, feel what you feel, and believe what you believe. You desperately try to explain the sense of feeling you have running within you to someone who has never experienced Disney the way you have before. You attempt to inform them just how magical it is to walk up to your favorite character and give them a hug. How magical it is to be in the center of a story book. Most importantly, you get to describe how magical it is to not have a worry for anything while you're unleashing the kid inside of you. That kid only you thought you were allowed to understand and see.

Disney is the place for becoming healthier. Although, not in the ways you expect. Forget that diet while you're there. That word doesn't even exist in the world of Disney. I'm talking about the health that is within you. The mental health. The well being of yourself as a person. I can't even begin to describe the amount of positive vibes that will flow through your bloodstream when you are at this beautiful and magnificent place. That is why I am in love with Disney and everything that it is.

I leave all of you, my readers, with this quote from Walter Elias Disney...

"Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever." -Walter Elias Disney

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
