Allergy season is upon us. I know it's still not totally warm outside, and there's still a small chance of snow and temperatures below freezing, but for the most part at least, spring is here. The pollen is covering the ground, and more importantly, I haven't gone a day in the last week without sneezing profusely, so I'd say the turn of the season is just getting started, and here are a few GIFs to express the feelings of anyone who happens to have spring allergies.

1. Your nose, your poor, poor nose.

Even the baby animals make your nose feel like it's going to explode, or at least turn a nice shade of tomato red.

2. This is an accurate number of allergies to you.

If you have allergies in general, this is definitely true. If you just have spring allergies, this also feels true.

3. You're literally allergic to everything.

Even if you're just allergic to pollen, when allergy season hits it definitely feels like you're allergic to everything on the planet.

4. This is what your eyes feel like.

Rolling on the floor in despair? That's basically how you feel every time you come back in from a nice walk outside.

5. This is basically what flowers do to you.

They may look pretty, but they sure don't do anything good for you this time of year.

6. You wish you could sneeze like baby Dumbo.

I mean look at those cute ears. I think sneezing like Dumbo would make allergy season just a bit more bearable.

7. But you really just look like this.

I mean, it's still a cute puppy, so not a totally bad look if you're going to sneeze, except, you know, you wouldn't have to sneeze at all if it wasn't for all the pollen.

8. Or more accurately, like this.

The tissue in the nose, the way you blow your nose, this GIF describes it all perfectly, and sadly, this is how you feel every time you have to blow your nose because of the pollen.

9. This is you metaphorically running away from the pollen.

If someone could take a peek into your mind, this is probably what they'd see when you think of pollen. OK, so maybe not quite, but this is about the way you feel when you see even a molecule of pollen coming your way.

10. You know that you can beat those spring allergies.

Like Heidi Klum once said, you just have to show those allergies who's boss.

At the end of the day, you know that spring allergies are just that, spring allergies, and so you're going to show those allergies who's boss and enjoy the season, allergies included.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
