Dear Little Brother,

I want you to know how much you mean to me. Since the day you were born, you have always held a special place in my heart and you always will, no matter how much we bicker or fight. From the childhood years of me dressing you up in princess costumes and painting your nails, to your teen years of me supporting you in all of your sporting events, I will forever cherish our sibling relationship.

I would have never thought I’d learn so much from you when you’re years younger than me. I always thought it was supposed to be me teaching you things. I want to thank you for teaching me to be myself even when I’m in the most uncomfortable situation. I also thank you for always sticking up for me and encouraging me to try new things and be adventurous. You have taught me to always pursue my goals no matter how far out of reach they may seem and to always stay optimistic.

You honestly have no idea how grateful I am to have you in my life. On the regular you hear me say, “You’re so annoying!” or I hear you say "Stop being my second mom!", but it's all out of love and I’d never want it any other way. I’ve laughed my way through some of my greatest memories with you and in others we have held each other and cried. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us, and I continue to count my blessings each day. You may be stronger and taller than me, but I will always be your big sister and don’t you forget it! You may not be the best when it comes to boy advice, but you’re awesome when it comes to being that annoying little brother I’ll always know and love. Don’t grow up too fast. I will always be here for you, I love you.
