Dear Trump Supporter,
I could start by mentioning the uncountable absurds, threats and lies your candidate has become so famous for. I could explain in detail why his behavior is not only unacceptable for a president but it is also unfit for a decent human being. It is so easy, for anyone with a working brain, to prove that he is a racist. And a sexist. And a liar. And that he is just so wrong in every possible way. But this is not the point of this, Trump supporter, because you are already aware of all of it. You know who he is, there’s no ambiguity or misinterpretation, and still, you want to vote for him.
Many of you claim to be voting for him because you simply can’t vote for Clinton, because you don’t trust her, because she’s not transparent, because she lied about the emails, because she is married to Bill Clinton, because of Iraq, because she’s a democrat. You do have all the right to disagree with her policies and ideas, and to not trust her with your vote.
You DON’T have the right, however, to treat all muslims as terrorists and ban them all, to build walls as an attempt to marginalize the thousands of people that created this nation, to sponsor the diminishment of women and the rise of patriarchalism - this (and so much more) you are definitely, undoubtedly and wholeheartedly doing by supporting Donald J. Trump.
So I guess that voting for him makes of you, only based on the previous paragraph, (at least) a islamophobic, a latinophobic and a sexist. Ouch. I bet they’re creating new isms just because of your beloved candidate.
Have you ever read about World War ll and went like “This nazi thing is crazy, how did that many people support it? That’s impossible!” Well, Trump supporter, congratulations, you are the impossible. You are the kind of American foreign people have in mind when they say they hate Americans.
Regardless of the result of the election, if you vote for Trump, you’ll have to live with the fact that you are an embarrassment to democracy because you’re undermining the ongoing fight for unlimited and unrestrained freedom many of your ancestors have given their lives for. And years from now you will hopefully realize that Hitler was wrong. Trump. I mean Trump was wrong.
But hey, there’s one way to avoid all this lifelong historical shame, and it’s very simple: don’t vote for him. Remember this country is most certainly not only composed of white people. Remember your own Republican values. And especially, don’t vote for him because you don’t want to vote for the well educated and prepared woman who is going to win.
In a couple of days this country will make history, think carefully about which side you want to be on, because history doesn’t forget.
