Hello little one.
Right now, I have no idea who you are. School hasn't begun, no one is even on campus, and you might not even be signed up for recruitment yet.
But I love you already.
Trust me, you're gonna have the best big in the world. She's smart, but she knows how to have fun. She can be wild, but she's a fierce friend. And I know without a doubt she'll love you with all she has.
Times haven't always been easy for our family, and we've experienced tragedies as bad as they can get.
But we still have hope.
And we still have love.
And now we have an angel.
And that is really all you need.
Your big has spent so much time already trying to craft for you, or buy you the cutest little things. (I apologize in advance for all the owls, that's just a Chi O thing that you're gonna have to accept). She's so excited to meet you, and I am too.
I want you to know that as your Grand Big, you can come to me for anything. I will be there for you through the failed exams, the boy that breaks your heart, and the homesickness. I never want you to feel like I don't love you, because once you're a part of our crazy fam, you're in it for life. And I promise that I'll love you for life.
But you need to promise me something in return.
I need you to be the best little in the world, because your big really deserves it. College is scary. But your sorority becomes your home, and your big becomes your family. I know without a doubt that you'll be the perfect fit for us. The perfect person to complete our little family.
Good luck with recruitment. Remember to be yourself and relax, you'll be fine.
I love you so much little one. I can't wait to welcome you home.
XOXO,
Grand Big
P.S. Remember if Big says no ask Grand Big. I may be a grandma, but I can still have fun!
