I know you don’t see it now, so I want to say this to you. I hope by me saying this, you can at least start to believe it. You have infinite worth. People underestimate you, and I believe they don’t give you enough credit. You are kind, hard-working, perceptive, and above all, you are loyal. You think about the ones you love before yourself, and you are always thinking of ways to make other people happy. I think a lot of people see a shy girl when they look at you, and they would be right. You are shy, but you are so much more than that. I may be biased, but you are an extremely incredible person, and anyone should consider themselves lucky to get the opportunity to meet you. Who cares if you’re shy. People should take the time to get to know you and then they’ll see how much depth you have. I have had the chance to get to know the depths of you over the years and yet you still continue to show me more and more about you each day. I love getting to know you, big sister.
People do underestimate you. But even more, you underestimate yourself. I don’t think you fully see the potential God has put in you. You have so much to offer this world. Your love for interior design and writing is such a cool combination, and I know God will use that in amazing ways. You also have so much love to give. Kayla, whatever man gets to marry you is going to be gifted with a very full life with a very devoted woman of God. I hope you believe that. I hope you believe that you deserve a man who will love you endlessly. And above all, I hope you believe that your Heavenly Father already does love you endlessly and so do I.
I know you’ve had a tough year…couple years…actually a tough life. Things have happened in our family that shouldn’t have, and people have said things to you that have hurt. (I’m sure I’ve said things to you that have hurt, and if I never apologized, I’d like to say I’m sorry now.) However, through all the ups and downs one thing never changes: your worth. You are found in Christ and through Him you are worth more than many sparrows. You, big sister, have infinite worth.
