In today's day and age, apps like Tinder and OkCupid are popular. For those who don't know, these are a few of the popular dating apps being commonly used today. Though people of all ages turn to apps and websites that promise to find your true love, you will also find a lot of teenagers on there, looking for a relationship.

What kind of boyfriend/girlfriend do you expect to find online though?

I may only be 20 years old, but I think dating apps are just overrated.

Call me old-fashioned, but I believe you should meet someone in person, you'll become attracted to each other and then start building a relationship. You should go on dates and be goofy together. Taking pictures together and driving around town, enjoying time together.

All I can think is meeting someone online, talking to them and then planning to meet with them. First of all, stranger danger. As a kid, one of the most important lessons I took away from elementary school was to never meet up with someone I met online. It could easily be someone just waiting to kidnap me and take me away. This might not always be the case, but better safe than sorry.

I will say that I do know people that have met their spouse online or on an app, and they seem to be very happy; however, the happiest relationships I have witnessed were not the result of online dating.

To me, it's easier to get to know someone when you spend time with them. You have to see how someone acts and treats other people before you can have a serious relationship with them. If you meet someone online, you won't be able to see these type of behaviors.

I don't judge people who use these type of apps, but I just believe there are better ways, especially for those who are still very young.

Most teenagers who have these apps have the potential to meet so many new people. In high school and college, there are so many activities and organizations that open up the opportunity for meeting so many new people. There just isn't a need for the app, and there isn't a rush to find a spouse at such a young age.

Again, I don't judge those who use this method. I just think there are other more effective (and safer) ways to go about finding a new boyfriend/girlfriend.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
