I've been thinking a lot about just how hard it is to be in college. College can really make you feel like you're never trying hard enough. Or maybe you do feel like you're putting in all your effort but it's just not paying off. This is why I need daily motivation. Whether it's to encourage you to put in a few extra minutes of studying or discourage you form procrastinating on assignments, I think we all could use something to motivate ourselves on the daily. After all, no matter how much support you have from others or how many people are rooting for you, it's ultimately on you to make your own success and get to where you want to go.
Philippians 4:6-7
Most of the time, my mantras are scriptures. My faith is something that continuously gets me through the day or week especially if it's been a rough one. God's word is a constant, something that is never changing so, for me, it's easy to rely on.

Other times, I use quotes from other people. Whether I use the one already printed in my planner or scroll across something inspiring on Instagram, I know that it can hold some value. The thing about using other's quotes is that they're usually from people who have been through tough times or maybe a similar situation. There are other people who have been where you are and sometimes using their quotes can act as a little guidance to get you through whatever you need to get through.
Lastly, I use my own quotes. No one knows you better than yourself. You know exactly what you need to get you through the day. And if you have your own daily mantra, hang it up or make it your screensaver. Keep it somewhere you know you'll look when you need a little extra encouragement.
