Hi, my name is Abby Engel and I'm addicted to makeup. The first step to being a makeup addict is admitting it and I'm here to help you admit to your addiction and become one of us. I've come up with 11 quick ways to decide if you're a makeup addict.

1. You can't leave the store without new makeup.

You can not just run to the store to get milk and not leave with three new lipsticks. You forget to grab what you were supposed to get at the store because you dropped $50 on new foundation, primer and new storage for all your makeup.

2. You stalk makeup websites and social medias.

You check Jeffree Star's website and social media at least once a day to see if he's going to restock anything. You're constantly searching for new swatches of lipstick colors and looking up reviews on which foundation you should try next. If you follow at least 5 different makeup brands on all of your social media sites, you're a makeup addict.

3. You know makeup terms.

If you know what I mean when I say "swatch", "contour" or "bake" then you are a makeup addict. Sorry.

4. You relate to the following image:

5. You are subscribed to Ipsy or Birchbox.

And you stalk the mail man when you get the email that your bag shipped. Then, when you get your bag, its basically Christmas.

6. You work to buy new makeup.

You don't work to pay for gas or rent, you work to get yourself a new palette or fund your next trip to Ulta.

7. You set your alarms according to how much time you need for your make up.

Sleeping late and skipping a step of your make up is NOT an option. You set your alarms accordingly. Besides, you can just skip breakfast if you're running late... as long as your wings are even, nothing else matters, right?

8. You agreed when I said "if your wings are even, nothing else matters."

I mean, it's true.

9. You are apart of a makeup Facebook page or online forum.

Being apart of these forums and makeup pages are fabulous because its all posts about what makeup you should get, and what looks look best on you, and professional's who know how to perfect your look. If you aren't apart of these pages, get on one because it's the best decision you will ever make.

10. You watch or make youtube tutorials.

If you're ready to learn a new make up technique, youtube is the best place to turn. But when you start binge-watching videos or, better yet, start making your own... That's when you know you have become a makeup addict.

11. You drag your significant other into the makeup world.

They know that running into the store "just for a minute," is going to turn into a minimum of 45 minutes following you around Sephora. However, they don't complain and end up following you around and commenting about the products you're testing on the back of your hand. Your significant other even buy's you the new lip color you've been wanting and listens to you vent when they run out of stock of the new product you've been wanting. If your significant other has accepted your addiction, its time you do too.

If you relate to any of these confessions, congratulations! You're a makeup addict! Welcome to the club! Embrace it, love it, and don't let anyone ever tell you that you're crazy for spending your life savings on makeup. The rest of us addicts support you and appreciate your flawless contour.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
