Throughout the life as a college student, naps become a vital part of some students' days. As busy as days can get, there always seems to be room for a nap. As a person who likes to nap all the time, here are some confessions that you should be able to relate to.
1. 12-minute naps
In college, your schedule can be very hectic and there are so many things to do. Fortunately, you learn to nap during the free time you do have. Whether you have an hour or 12 minutes to catch up from the lack of sleep you got the night before, it is ALWAYS worth it!
2. Nap in the evening and sleep through the night
Now, I am the type of person that will nap no matter what time it is. It can be 8 p.m. at night and I will still want to take a nap. In the past, I have taken a 15 minute power nap in between study sessions to keep myself going. Not only can I take a nap in the evening, but I can also sleep through the night with no problem whatsoever. Now that is a talent.
3. Napping becomes part of your daily routine
Because naps are such a vital part of a college student's life, napping can become a part of their daily routine. You wake up for class and already know when you can squeeze a nap in. In between your classes, you come home just to squeeze in a nap. In order to be on time for your next class, you time your naps by setting an alarm. It isn't strange to you because it's a normal part of your day, unlike someone who doesn't take naps often.
4. You're a night owl
Naps give you the energy to push through your day, no matter how long it may be. From sports practice to a late night of studying, naps are important. Your love of sleep may cause you to become a night owl.
5. No one understands how you can do it
Do you have those friends who question your napping? Your friends may think you have no life because you nap so frequently when, in reality, napping is just one of your main priorities.
6. Decline plans because you want to nap instead
It is true that you nap a lot when you decline plans with a friend by saying you're too busy, but just end up taking a nap. Sometimes you would just rather be alone... in your bed... cuddled up in your blankets.
7. People say you get too much sleep
The ones who are questioning your naps are the same ones who say you get too much sleep. They are probably just jealous, because who doesn't want to sleep a lot? Forget the haters, keep on napping!
