Stop Comparing Yourself To Others And You Will Find Happiness

Comparison is the silent killer of self love.

Have you ever accomplished something amazing that you felt proud or excited about, only to find out someone did the same thing or something similar? And suddenly you are overcome with feeling of sadness due to comparison or jealousy?

Here it is plain and simple — it is no one's business what you are doing and it is none of your business what everyone else is doing.

All that matters is that you are living your life for you and enjoying the moments that make it up. When we are constantly filling our heads with comparisons, jealousy is born, manifesting negative energy.

You are more than enough.

You do not need to compare what you have to what others have.

You were made in a perfect image of uniqueness. There is no one like you out there, so why compare? When comparison comes into the picture, our own special unique qualities become overshadowed.

Comparison leads to feelings of hate and jealousy. Love yourself and others.

We get so caught up with comparison that it has the potential to control our minds and we can miss out on all the brilliance and opportunities to grow as individuals that are right in front of us.

You have to believe you are worthy of love — it is OK to be a little selfish and focus on you and your own needs.

When you stop comparing and start living for you, you start to attract the things and people that align with who you truly are, therefore leading to a more fulfilled and authentic life.

Releasing comparisons allows for authenticity to thrive.

Think about what makes you unique as a person. What are the traits that make you you

? What are the things you love to do and the places you like to go?

Appreciate those traits that make you special and show yourself love. Imagine a world filled with more self love.

Comparing yourself to others does no good for anyone.

Build each other up and get out of your own head. Sometimes we can get caught in the idea that we are not as good as “blank” or we can’t do this certain task as well as “blank.” But that is so far from the truth. We can do anything we set our minds to.

Build others up and build yourself up.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
