College, the era of little sleep and not enough caffeine. With extracurricular, classes, and a social life it can be hard to find time to sleep. Many college students will go to caffeine in order to stay awake to continue their studies. On a college campus it's nearly impossible to go to any restaurant and not find a coffee machine. With a caffeine addiction in college or if you're a coffee lover (coffee addict in denial). At Longwood there a few great coffee places to satisfy one's addiction. There is also a cheaper solution, such as buying Keurig and the K cups from Walmart.

Besides going to the dining hall or getting coffee from your dorm/a friend's dorm; there are a few great places to get coffee for not a bad price. And Starbucks is not one of the top three actually. There are four other good places to get coffee when attending Longwood University. One is in the library for early morning studies, late night studies, or a coffee to grab on the way to class.

Java City, the little cafe in the library. With good coffee and not overly priced either, it's great for students around campus and is fairly easy to get to wherever a student may be. The drinks aren't fancy, and there isn't a secret menu either, what you see is what you get. Even so, it is a coffee shop in a library, and they don't just do coffee and tea; there is food from muffins to sandwiches.

Another cute coffee cafe on Campus would be Einstein's Bagels in the Student Union. With a different price range and different selection of coffee and food alike. Einstein's Bagels isn't super pricey which is wonderful for any college student and coffee lover to hear. Now when you to try the coffee, do yourself a favor and also get a bagel, it'll be hot and sweet and covered in shmear (similar to cream cheese).

This coffee shop isn't on Longwood Campus, but do not fret the walk isn't long. In Farmville there is a small cafe called, Uptown Coffee. With a wide selection of teas, coffees, iced beverages, and yes, food Uptown is great place to refuel for classes. One of the best parts of uptown is that even with their crazy menu, the prices are awesome! By getting two teas at Uptown, for the price of one tea at Starbucks! Uptown is a small family run business with one other store in Victoria, Virginia.

Now whether a person decides to get caffeine from a coffee shop or to make it themselves doesn't matter. Either way a person is putting coffee in their system. Personally my favorite place to go is Uptown, the walk isn't bad at all and it can be nice to get off campus for a bit. It's actually weird if i don't go at least once during the weekend.
