More than likely, Disney was a very big part of your childhood. Whether it was going on trips to Disney World/Land or just watching various movies and singing along to the catchy songs. There are handfuls of Disney movies, just like there are college majors. The best part, there are some college majors that have a Disney movie to go along with it.
1. Business: "The Princess and the Frog"
Just like business majors, Princess Tiana hopes to have her own business one day. She plans on opening her own restaurant and strives for greatness.
2. Criminal Justice: "Zootopia"
In "Zootopia," Judy aspires to be a cop one day and goes for her dream and gets it! Criminal Justice majors are determined and are all about following the law and making sure people are safe.
3. Culinary Science: "Ratatouille"
Just like culinary science majors, Ratatouille is a mixture of culinary arts and food science. It shows all of the steps to be a successful culinary artist. Just remember, if a rat can do it, you can too!
4. Engineering: "Big Hero Six"
Baymax was built by Tedashi. This shows that anybody can set their mind to anything. Engineering majors can easily look up to this movie, and see that they are capable of anything!
5. English: "Beauty and the Beast"
Belle is always constantly reading. She spends her time at the library, renting books and reading every page. She loves to read as much as she can.
6. Fashion Design: "Cinderella"
Like fashion majors, Fairy Godmother can change any item of clothing into something wonderful and beautiful. There are absolutely fabulous and innovative designers
7. Gender Studies: "Mulan" (Feminine Studies)
Mulan goes out and helps save the world. She is showing young girls that they can go out and do whatever they put their heart to. Like gender study majors, Mulan is striving to make a difference.
8. Marine Biology: "Finding Nemo"
Finding Nemo (and also now Dory) help show the ocean off! Marlin is constantly swimming all over the ocean, just like a marine biologist would do in a case of study
9. Musical Education: "The Aristocats"
The kittens of this movie are constantly playing music, singing and dancing all over the place! They are very artistic, just like all music majors. They love performances and everything with sound.
10. Physical Education: "Hercules"
Hercules has to learn how to use his strength throughout the movie. Like physical education majors, there are constant sports and activities being played.
11. Psychology: "Inside Out"
Like psychology majors, this movie goes inside the head. It shows all of the different emotions a person has and goes in-depth about how everything works together!
12. Social Work: "Sleeping Beauty"
Like the three guardian fairies, social work students are always trying to find a way to help. They are willing to help take people in and help them develop and grow!
13. Theatre: "High School Musical"
High School Musical is one big theatre production throughout the whole movie! It has singing and dancing throughout the hallways and outside. Troy and Gabriella sing throughout their day just like theatre majors do.
14. Undecided: "Alice in Wonderland"
There's nothing wrong with not knowing what major is perfect for you. Alice is just the same way with her life! She has no idea if she should stay in Wonderland, go back home, or if she is content or nervous! Her life is a perfect amount of messy!
15. Veterinarian: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
Snow White loves spending her time with the animals and doing everything she can with them! Like Snow White, veterinarian majors will do anything they can to help out an animal and be with them when they can.
Disney is all about happiness and fun! Comparing your college major(s) with a Disney movie always makes life just a little brighter!
