Let me guess and say that you have not picked out your Halloween Costume yet..well just in case you forgot, Halloween is coming up VERY soon, and you should probably get on that like, as soon as possible. I'm not kidding, go get your costume ready. No one wants to be in stress mode come Friday night at Party City when they are all sold out of the most needed item for your costume. If you are still struggling as to what you should be, I have listed some tips to the different types of Costumes you will can be and will most likely see on your college-version Halloween Night.
The Always Easy Cat or Bunny

The Groups
If you don't want to dress up alone, bring in some of your friends and make it a group effort! That way you always have someone to confide in about what would be perfect with your costume. The only problem, if you are looking for something to be your own and stand out, clearly this is not the costume you are looking for.
The Only Some People Will Get This
Believe me, I am all for creativity, I applaud people who are incredibly creative, I wish I was like you. Although, I really do not recommend wearing a costume only some people will understand, or one that does not really show what you are. There's a pretty good chance that the people you encounter on Halloween are intoxicated, making it even harder to explain your costume to. That being said, if you wear a costume and people don't understand, DONT WORRY! If you're comfortable and feel great wearing that costume, go for it!
Your Favorite Disney Character

The Couples
If you and that special someone want to dress-up together, that's great! Have fun re-enacting a famous celebrity couple, or even a movie couple
The No-Need To Do Anything
Believe me, I love being lazy, so when it comes to costume making I would take the easy route. But that's just me personally. For me when it comes to an easy costume I always think of Risky Business, and wearing a long button-down and boxers. (Yes a girl can totally wear that on Halloween)
The One's That Are Super Clever
Back to my creativity post, if you have a boss-a** idea for a costume, GO FOR IT. You and your costume will be remembered if you have the best costume. Use your imagination, use Pinterest, but search for the best costume you can come up with.
