It's arguably worse than one of Marshall's slaps to Barney's face.

If you're a college student, there are only two words that are guaranteed to immediately send chills down your spine: class registration. This is the most stressful part of the semester because you're trying to figure out which classes to take, how many credits you need, or even worse, what you want to do with your future. Here are a few gifs that perfectly describe the entire process if you're not familiar with how much stress and time goes into it.

1. You finally decide to check your school's portal and you realize that registration is only one week away, and you haven't done anything to prepare

2. So you immediately set a bunch of hours aside to research all the classes you still need to take

3. Everything is looking fine until one of your major requirements is an early class

4. Once you take a look at all the classes in your shopping cart, you just have to accept that you won't have a social life next semester

5. But when you meet with your advisor, they remind you to add backups to your top picks, so you have to back to the drawing board and pick more classes

6. You're so focused on trying to get the perfect schedule that you don't have time for distractions, not even talking to your parents

7. You start to become more irritated once all your friends are talking about how their registration times are earlier than yours

8. The night before registration you're basically preparing for the worst and expecting to not get any of your top choice classes

9. It's the day of registration and you could not be any more nervous or anxious just to get your scheduleĀ

10. When it's finally your turn to register, you see one of your top choices is already fullĀ

11. So now you have to accept that you're going to take some courses that you're mildly interested in

12. Once you press the "enroll in courses" button, you see your schedule pop up and you feel like it's not real life

13. But after looking at your schedule you suddenly realize that it's actually not as bad as you thought it'd be and that you got some of your top choice classes

14. So now you're just chilling for the rest of the semester

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
