Christmas as a kid is the best time of year. Presents, lots of sugary desserts always available--what more can you ask for? As an adult, it's still great, but there are some distinct differences.

As a kid: Slap some macaroni noodles on some paper and you're good.
Now: Thank goodness for Amazon Prime free two-day shipping.
Going to family Christmas parties.
As a kid: Playing with cousins, getting spoiled by grandparents, and plus more family means more presents. Not too shabby.
Now: Please don't ask if I'm still single, please don't ask if I'm still single...
Going to the mall.
As a kid: That means you get to see Santa.
Now: The parking....
Christmas Eve.
As a kid: T-MINUS SIX HOURS, 42 MINUTES AND NINE SECONDS
Now: You've got some time to kill. Might as well nap.
Christmas morning.
As a kid: 6 a.m. Can't handle the excitement.
Now: 11 a.m. Still napping from yesterday.
