Each day we face obstacles, we find ourselves fighting demons, making choices, and facing our fears. You can either face life in one of two ways, you can feel blessed by those challenges or you can stress them.
I know as a person who is almost always constantly stressed out about something, even with minuscule things, it can be hard to seek out the positives in stress-filled situations. But as a follower of Christ, I know that I am given those challenges to mold me. Each and everyone of us is given hardships to create in us a better future. We grow from the things we learn, and we take those lessons and apply them to our future life. We can be blessed in that way. We can apply the knowledge we once learned to another piece in our life's puzzle. To give a sense of peace to you mind can make all the difference in the world. You can make each day better just by your daily outlook.
One of today's hardest challenges is knowing when and when not to say something. You can choose to let someone's words aggravate you, or you can take them or what they are, and consider the source. When you look at what people say and do, i think it is important to look deeper into the message; always do your homework. Don't believe in the drama filled stuff that is posted on the front page news, most of the time they aren't even telling you a near 95% of the situations reality. When i address a problem like this, you can absolutely choose to be blessed by it; or stressed. Take it for what it is, and like i said before, dig deeper on it. Educate yourself, be able to defend the truth if you ever need to. Don't just look at the head articles or magazines, look into the facts. Become knowledgeable for yourself, you'll feel much better if conflict arises. On the other hand you can ignore looking farther, you can believe in what the masses tell you, and you can look like anyone else. You will find yourself repeating the same words, lines and phrases that they used, and you won't be able to bring something new to the table. From there, someone may pick your head about it, they may challenge you to your understanding. What will you do when all you can say is what you read in the first paragraph of TMZ Magazine? You'll feel defeated, you'll be stressed by the situation. Don't let that happen.
Choices are all around you. Good and bad, right and wrong, uplifting or negative, you will produce an outcome. Every aspect of youre life you contribute to, you pave a new road. Make the right road, follow the "yellow brick road." Choose to be blessed in your life; life is to short to be stressed.
