There comes a point when you get to college where you realize that there are people you hung around just because they were in the same building with you for 7 hours a day. You realize that quality over quantity is everything. Friendships that you make in college are most likely going to be those that you cherish for the rest of your life. The people you meet in college are going to be those that you live with, study with, and do just about everything under the sun with. You are who you're friends with, so choose wisely who you want to become.
1. They're right by your side when you fail your first test that you studied in the library nonstop for hours on hours.
2. They're right by your side when you apply to get involved on campus to 50 different things and don't get any of them... again.
3. They're right by your side when you get dumped by the boy you thought for sure you were going to marry.
4. They're right by your side when you want to go to your sororities date party with a group of girls instead of finding a date you have to keep up with.
5. They're right by your side when you really just need to be scooped from class cause you're too lazy to walk (even though your FitBit says you need more steps for the day).
6. They're right by your side telling you that you need to stop eating ice cream and binge watching Grey's Anatomy for hours instead of homework.
7. They're right by your side when you have a three-page paper due tomorrow, but they support you by watching "The Bachelor" instead.
Well, it's safe to say friends are everything! You have to be able to make yourself happy. Continue trucking through college, because it'll be over before you blink and you'll wish you were studying in the library all night not getting anything done again. This one goes out to my girls who have been with me through it all, especially my bad moods.
