New Christmas Songs Aren't All Bad!

Changing Up Your Christmas Playlist

We all love the Holidays, and all of the things that come with this festive season, but there are some things that are not always the best. A major thing that radio stations and tv channels have a problem with is playing the same song over, and over again. Though I cannot freaking wait for Christmas to get here, there are some songs I would rather not hear again until next season. Why don't you listen to some newer songs instead? This list shows an overrated Christmas song and then a song you should listen to instead!

Jingle Bell Rock - Bobby Helms

Instead: Christmas Lights by Coldplay

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

Instead: Love Is Christmas by Sara Bareilles

The Chipmunk Song - The Chipmunks

Instead: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy - Pentatonix

Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer - Gene Autry

Instead: Snoopy's Christmas (Christmas Bells) - The Royal Guardsmen

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer - Elmo and Patsy

Instead: Winter Wonderland/Here Comes Santa Claus - Snoop Dogg and Anna Kendrick

Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee

Instead: Christmas In The Room - Sufjan Stevens

Jingle Bells - Singing Dogs

Instead: Santa Tell Me - Ariana Grande

I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus - Jimmy Boyd

Instead: Cold December Night - Michael Bublé

Frosty The Snowman - Gene Autry

Instead: Dominick The Donkey - Lou Monte

Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt

Instead: Silver Snow - Derik Nelson

Do You Hear What I Hear - Bing Crosby

Instead: Mary Did You Know? - Pentatonix

Explain your playlist this holiday season, trust me, you'll thank me later!

And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

3110
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
