When we were kids, we were led to believe that every princess meets her prince and they live happily ever after. We were convinced we were going to be the next Cinderella and fall madly in love with the man of our dreams, and sometimes that does happen, but many times it doesn't.

Hollywood couples are often our version of fairytales. We see their pictures in the media and we read about them in the news. They walk hand in hand down the red carpet, they take exotic vacations and they boast about one another Jimmy Fallon. All is fine until a Hollywood couple releases a statement announcing their breakup or pending divorce.

Hollywood couples are notorious for experiencing difficulty in maintaining relationships. After all, filming four movies in a year or touring for six months doesn't make it easy to keep in touch with their significant other.

In recent years, some of the most popular Hollywood couples we envied called it quits. Whether they were together for a decade or just a few years, each breakup or divorce breaks our heart just as much. It doesn't matter that we've never met these couples or only know about their personal lives based on magazine cover stories or what they share on social media, Hollywood couples are a part of our lives and we're sad to see them call it quits, just like we're sad whenever any seemingly happy couple calls it quits. They may be Hollywood royalty but they're just like us and heartbreak sucks for anyone who has to go through it.

In light of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum calling it quits last week, here are eight Hollywood break-ups that we're still not over.

1. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

I don't think anyone saw this one coming. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fell in love while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. They got married in 2014 with their six children standing beside them.

In 2013, she underwent a double mastectomy and a few months after, she penned a letter to "The New York Times." In the letter, she said, "I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive."

In 2016, Jolie filed for divorce and the rumors started swirling soon after. Brangelina was no more and the world was heartbroken.

2. Fergie and Josh Duhamel

For the longest time, I had no idea these two were even married. Although an odd match, I thought they were an adorable couple and I was sad when they split up.

3. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

He was a scumbag for cheating on the beautiful Jennifer Garner, but I was still sad when they filed for divorce, especially because they have three children.

4. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris

I wouldn't say they were a "fan favorite" couple or one that people necessarily envied, but they were still adorable together and it's sad when any couple gets divorced.

5. Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were so cute together even her mom wants them to get back together.

In an interview with "Access Live" in March Dianna De La Garza said, “I do like them together. I would be happy if they were together forever, but I don’t know anything about a timeline or even if it’s going to happen. They’re amazing friends and hopefully one day it will be more than that."

The two were last seen together on February 24, long after their break-up, so maybe they will rekindle their romance soon??? Let's hope so.

6. Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff

I became a fan of this couple after I watched an interview between Lena Dunham and Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2015.

When asked whether or not she and Jack Antonoff would get married anytime soon, Dunham said, "Until [marriage is] something that everyone can join into with no sense of being left out on any level, politically, emotionally, it’s just not something that we’re gonna do."

The couple broke-up in January after more than five years together.

7. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

I'm sorry, but I'm still convinced these two are meant for each other. I just can't get on the Blake and Gwen bandwagon.

8. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum

Did anyone see this coming??? I sure didn't. My jaw literally dropped when I read that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum were splitting up. It was a few days after April Fools Day so I thought, "This is just an April Fools joke." Nope. It's heartbreak for everyone in America.

In a statement released on each of their Instagrams, the couple said, “We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."

I respect the couple for releasing a statement on their own terms. There's nothing worse than rumors or statements released from PR representatives. There are no unanswered questions, just two people who weren't meant to last forever.

Now that we're heartbroken over all the failed relationships in Hollywood and silently thinking, "Love is dead," how about we end on a high note? Although there are multiple Hollywood couples who are still together, here are eight adorable couples who stood the test of time.

1. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Imagine a life without Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis; this would have been the case had Kutcher stayed married to Demi Moore. The former "That '70s Show" costars have been married since 2015 and have two children.

2. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

These lovebirds probably aren't the first couple that comes to mind when thinking of adorable couples, but they have been together longer than any other couple on this list, and longer than most couples in general. On the podcast "Sooo Many White Guys," Tom Hanks said the secret to their happy 30-year marriage is "always telling the truth."

3. Beyoncé and Jay-Z

Despite the fact that Jay-Z came clean about cheating on Beyoncé, these two have made it through thick and thin and look good on the red carpet every time.

4. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi

In an Instagram post dedicated to their nine-year wedding anniversary in 2017, Ellen DeGeneres said, "Being her wife is the greatest thing I am."

5. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski

If these two ever got divorced, then love would actually be dead because they're the cutest couple ever.

In an interview with "Playboy," John Krasinksi said, "I think my wife gets me. Not just to sound adorable, but the truth is she gets me more than anyone else has ever gotten me."

6. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

One word: ADORABLE.

7. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

This adorable couple is coming up on their sixth wedding anniversary and have two children. They actually started dating after trying to set each other up with different people. Get you a woman/man who looks at you the way Ryan Reynolds looks at Blake lively and you're set for life.

8. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are probably my favorite couple on the list (sorry Blake and Ryan) because they're so normal and down to earth. They're don't shy away from talking about the difficult aspects of marriage and they don't sugarcoat anything.

In an interview with "Us Weekly" in 2017, Kristen Bell said, “Our marriage takes a lot of work. It is not easy to work around another human being, but if you commit to it, you can pretty much permanently respect that person. I disagree with him on almost everything, but I have intense respect for his critical thinking skills and the fact that we were raised differently. I always see his point. I do not and will not ever have contempt for him.”

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
